Our Projects

School & Orphanage Project

In response to a critical gap in child welfare infrastructure in the central Mount Lebanon region, this project proposes the development of a home for orphans, the first of its kind in the area. Currently, widows and low-income families are often forced to send their children to distant institutions, resulting in emotional strain and long periods of separation. This initiative seeks to provide not only a safe and nurturing residential environment for orphans but also a full-scale educational, recreational, and healthcare ecosystem that benefits the broader community.

Education and Special Needs Inclusion

In addition to housing, the project includes the construction of a school that will offer a strong academic foundation for resident children, as well as for others in the surrounding area. The school will feature a specialized section dedicated to children with special needs, ensuring inclusive access to quality education. Trained educators and support staff will provide individualized care and instruction to meet the diverse needs of every child.

Recreational and Cultural Facilities

A key feature of the project is the development of a large entertainment and recreational area. This space will include an indoor playground, games area, swimming pool, cinema, and rooms for music, dance, and various sports activities. These facilities will be available not only to orphans, but also to other children in the community, addressing the region’s lack of recreational spaces for youth. Revenue generated from community use will help offset the costs of supporting orphans, widows, and families in need, making the project financially sustainable in the long term.

Healthcare and Community Support

The campus will also house a fully-equipped medical center that will offer essential healthcare services. These will include treatment, medication, physiotherapy, and other forms of support to ensure the well-being of the resident children and serve the wider community. The medical center will play a vital role in providing accessible care for families who currently struggle to afford or reach healthcare services.
